Day 3 of VBS went well. Today’s focus was on the “shields of faith” and “feet fitted for readiness of the gospel of peace.” We’ve been doing a song all week to “Father Abraham,” but instead of “right arm,” “left foot,” etc., we used these terms:
- Belts buckled
- Breastplates on
- Feet fitted
- Shields up
- Helmets hard
- Swords drawn
- Ten-hut!
- At ease
